Melbourne Asia Pacific Outgames Swimming & Water Polo 2008

These are #photographs from the 1st Asia Pacific Outgames that was held in Melbourne in 2008 and these are images from the Swimming & Water Polo Events.

This was a very cool Festival of Games. While it sounded like the Melbourne/Sydney Games people were relaxed and friendly and folks from outside of Australia were given huge cheers when they were announced.

James had just returned back to Australia from 8 months travel in Europe and South America and this was the first event he attended. Thanks to Wayne Ostler for knowing about the Outgames in advance of James' return and organising the tickets etc!

We pleased to provide these images from the archives and we note that the majority of this is a previously unpublished archive!

The Gallery, Above, are the curated camera proofs from a day spent by the pool is the narrative context and we're sure this will give you viewing pleasure.
