These #photographs were taken at the Sydney LGBTQ Mardi Gras Fairday in 2004.
This event was lovely and close to where James lived in Glebe and it was a lovely sunny day so he decided to pop down to the park and collect some photos which we think turned out quite lovely.
It was a lovely afternoon. Bob Downe was very lovely and entertained the crowd. The lovely Leif Godwin was there as was Harbour City Bears Committee Member Danny plus the lovely Dennis Quinto and there are some really lovely photographs of Sean!
There were lots of fun things to see and we think there was a lovely dog show! Opera Boy aka Timothy duFore popped in with his latest squeeze, at the time, plus there were a couple of others, who we know the face but can't recall the name!
In fact everything was lovely, except the Archivist's writing down of people's names was not so lovely! This was at the dawn of the digital age so the camera used is pre the Nikon D70. So really the images are far better than one would expect to get from that vintage!
