The last time the Australian AIDS Quilt was displayed before it was donated by the HIV Community for permanent display at Sydney's Powerhouse Museum was at the Exhibition organised by the Perth Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at the Prestigious Perth Concert Hall in 2005.

Each of the Panels brought to Western Australia had a direct link to a Person who had Passed Away from AIDS connected to Western Australia and the Sisters arranged a very moving and meaningful unfolding of the Quilt by People Living with HIV/AIDS WA, their families and loved ones.

The WA Minister For Health, The Hon. Jim McGinty accepted the Sister's invitation to officially open the Exhibition and fully catered cocktail party which was attended by many well known Perth Identities including now Senator Louise Pratt, (former) WA Greens MP Giz Watson, Hollywood from the Perth Sunday Times, Glenda & George Rendell from the Friends of the WA AIDS Memorial Group, Judy Nemer, Perth Bears and the Perth LGBTI Pagan Group. Everyone but Pride WA Inc!

The Sister's Event was very well received by the Community and Trish Langdon, the (former) CEO of WAAC, thanked Mother Gretta and the Sisters for their hard work in her speech. The Event pictures on this Page are courtesy of Abbey of the Black Swan, Media Annuncio and Senior Sister, Sr Mary-Jane Singleton of the Divine Green Weed.

The Quilt Exhibition was combined with a Display of Fine Art entitled "Rainbow Spirits" made by LGBTQ Artists from Western Australia. The Event featured Fire Dancers and a Recital on the Grand Piano by (former) President of Bears Perth, Paul Hayter.
