Newtown Hotel Sydney 2004

These #photographs were taken at the Newtown Hotel in Sydney in 2004.

These are a combination of colour edited images plus camera proofs that are being published because while they might appear to be a blur of movement they have an identifiable face that now has a place in history.

Scroll through and you will see a black and white photograph of the lovely Greg Guthenberg who is still a friend of James and the Fagmedia family.

We believe that there were a couple of notable Drag Queens from Perth here including Jemima Beam who interestingly was one of the people who helped get the Friends of the WA AIDS Memorial Group off the ground.

The Gallery, Above, contains a selection of colour edited images and the curated camera proofs for narrative context and your viewing pleasure.

Fagmedia Credits Anthem – "Loud and Clear".

A short, triumphant anthem to close out our videos – celebrating unapologetic joy, strength, and community. Fagmedia: Ethical, courageous, fiercely independent.
